Are Fathers and Their Children Treated Justly?
Fathers' Inquiry is a public record of testimony from fathers about what happened to them and their children, often including their dealings with family courts, police and child protection services, recorded privately and edited to protect the people it describes.
We are not used to hearing men speak about the worst thing that has happened to them. What happens in a family case is rarely heard anywhere else. This is a place built for it: his own account, in his own words, kept on the record.
Every recording is an account given to the Inquiry, and it is published as one. Fathers' Inquiry does not decide whether an account is true, and it does not ask you to take one on trust: it checks what documents can check, and says on each recording what it could not. The questions, the rules and every correction are published too, so the process can be judged as openly as the account.
