Write to contact@fathersinquiry.com. A person reads it.
Fathers' Inquiry is run by a small group of fathers, alongside their own lives, so a reply may take some days. It will come from a person rather than an automatic response.
Before You Write
If you want to testify, do not send your account here. Read How we protect people first, then use the application. That route exists because it handles what you send differently from ordinary email, and because what you would write here would sit in a mailbox.
If something published here is wrong, or if you believe a recording describes proceedings you were part of, the Publication and correction policy sets out what happens and how quickly. Write to the same address and say which page and which sentence.
For press enquiries, write to the same address and put press in the subject line. There is no separate press office, because there are no staff.
What to Expect
- A reply from a person, not a template.
- No mailing list. Writing here does not subscribe you to anything, because there is nothing to subscribe to.
- Your email is kept in the mailbox it arrives in and is not added to anything else. The privacy policy sets out the rest.
What This Address Cannot Do
It cannot give you legal advice. Fathers' Inquiry is not a law firm and nobody here is your lawyer. We cannot tell you whether it is safe for you to speak publicly about your own case, whether an order applies to you, or what to do about your proceedings. Those questions need a lawyer in your own jurisdiction.
It is not a crisis service. Nobody monitors this mailbox overnight, and a message sent at three in the morning may not be read for days.
If You Need to Talk to Someone Now
If you are struggling, please do not wait for a reply from us.
- United States and Canada: call or text 988.
- Canada: 1-833-456-4566.
These are not run by Fathers' Inquiry. They are staffed by people trained for this, at any hour, and they are available whether or not you ever write to us or apply.
